This clip is about a sea elephant approaching a girl sitting on the beach. They were sitting next to each other, kissing each other and even cuddling. I believe that they were not just touch physically but also psychologically and emotionally. I have never seen things like that and you may want to say communication between humans and dogs and human and cats are like that, but I believe communicating with wild animals like sea elephant are just different, way different. At that moment, the relationship between the girl and the sea elephant are unique, strong and intimate. It shows that perhaps we can communicate with the nature. Another strong example that shows that we as human beings can communicate with nature is that a lion kisses and gives hug to a rescuer. Indeed, there is a lot of videos that show such amazing connection between humans and nature. These are romantic moment we don't want to ignore.
For sure that not everyone can have such experience with nature, but from my perspectives, as long as we show our appreciation of nature and do the best we can, there is love between us and the nature, and it's romantic.

To me, this video was heartwarming and absolutely miraculous. I even shared it with a couple of people. Many times it's been researched and reported that mammals are extremely intelligent and often are used and trained for various studies (chimpanzees.) Because of this, I believe that humans and animals have the ability to connect despite being unable to have traditional conversations. There are other ways connections are established, such as emotionally. Most mammals like companionship in some form, and this exemplifies that animals and humans can be companions with one another as well.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the bond between the two is not romantic in the traditional sense, it creates 'the romantic' ideology by portraying the beauty of humans and animals interacting in ways which evoke happiness and peace on both ends. It also instills compassion in the viewer, because it is quite evident that the animal has feelings just as the person does.
I completely agree. I completely appreciate the life of my dog every day. I love my dog. It's a weird feeling, to LOVE your dog. However, there's certainly this human romance of feeling love and caring for your pets.
